When it comes to your retirement plan, you have a team behind you. A Senior Administration Consultant will be assigned direct responsibility for your plan, and the Consultant will be supported by at least one Administrator. In turn, they are supported by our entire Staff which is comprised of Consultants & Administrators who have up to 20 years of experience in the retirement plans industry. The Ryding Company places a high value on continuing education – many of our Staff have earned professional certifications (i.e., Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), and Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA). If you have a question, we will have the answer.
Throughout the year, questions will arise: How do I transfer my employee’s assets from his old plan into this one? What is my maximum contribution amount? Does my employee’s situation qualify as a hardship? That’s why we’re here! We’re available to answer your questions on a day-to-day basis and to help resolve any challenges you may face.
Annual Plan Reviews
An important part of a Fiduciary’s responsibility is to review the plan assets and compliance on an annual basis. Your Financial Advisor will initiate these meetings and The Ryding Company will send a designated representative to participate in the review. It’s an ideal opportunity to make sure your current plan design is representative of your current goals. We address any questions or concerns with regard to plan compliance and work with you to resolve any issues.
Plan Design & Redesign
Ideally, your plan was designed to meet your goals at the time. Whether your goal was to maximize your corporate tax deduction, provide a savings platform for your own future, or entice your employees to save substantially for toward their retirement goals, the plan design was tailored accordingly. As your business evolves, so do your plan retirement needs. What worked for you three years ago may not be the right plan for you today. We will consult with you and your Financial Advisor regularly to ensure your plan design remains in line with your goals.
